el mundo que nos rodea
Research Project at Museo El Eco, Mexico City (2013)
Working at Museo El Eco has enabled me to develop my practice as a part of my
residency at SOMA summer (Mexico City). The patio within an urban environment
has allowed me to capture the city sounds of traffic, voices and birds, whilst moving
in a "safe" from the public unseen space.
It was a valuable experience to explore the inside-outside construction in this magical
atmosphere of hidden, yet felt presence. The emotional architecture has inspired my
research how spaces affect spatial perception and movement.
